When Tuft & Needle approached us, the mattress industry was approaching saturation. How do you stand out in an industry that seemingly has said it all?

The Strategy:

We flipped the script with them. Our thought was to highlight the core differentiator (the overwhelmingly good customer reviews) in a way that was visually captivating and equally compelling. We literally cast a customer that returned the mattress but still gave 5 stars because of customer service. T&N is the only bed-in-a-box mattress company loved by the haters, so we showed that.
